These terms govern your use of www.getfastah.com, including the documentation, API reference, IP explorer, API playground and other content published on it (together, "this Website"). By using this Website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who we are

This Website is operated by Fastah Inc. ("Fastah", "we", "us"), a Delaware corporation, 3500 S Dupont Hwy, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States of America. You can reach us at support@getfastah.com.

These terms and the Fastah API

These terms cover this Website only. Subscriptions to the Fastah API are bought on AWS Marketplace and are governed by the contract presented on the Fastah AWS Marketplace listing when you subscribe, currently the Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace, together with AWS's own terms for AWS Marketplace purchases and billing. Your use of the Fastah developer console at console.fastah.net and of API keys is governed by that contract. If that contract conflicts with these terms, that contract wins for the API and the console.

Using this Website

You may use this Website to learn about Fastah, read the documentation, and try our IP explorer and API playground for evaluation and your own reasonable, non-bulk use. When you do, you agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl or harvest this Website or its lookup results, or use scripts, bots or other automated means to make lookups in bulk;
  • use the IP explorer or API playground as a substitute for a Fastah API subscription, or resell, redistribute or build a dataset from their results;
  • try to get around rate limits, quotas, access controls or other technical limits;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise try to extract the source code, data or credentials behind this Website, the IP explorer or the API playground, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction;
  • interfere with, disrupt or overload this Website or the networks and services behind it, or probe, scan or test their vulnerabilities without our written permission;
  • use this Website in breach of any law, or to infringe anyone's rights;
  • submit false, misleading or unlawful information through our forms, including in data correction requests.

The IP explorer and API playground are rate limited. We may change those limits, and we may suspend or block access for anyone who breaches these terms or whose use threatens this Website or its users.

IP geolocation is approximate

Locations, network details and other results shown on this Website are estimates derived from IP address data. They are approximate, may be out of date or wrong, and are not proof of anyone's identity or exact physical location. Don't rely on them as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person.

Your submissions

When you send us something through a form, such as a data correction or geofeed details, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You allow us to use it to answer you and to review and improve Fastah's data. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal data in submissions.

Intellectual property

This Website and its content, including text, documentation, code samples, graphics, logos and data, belong to Fastah or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Fastah and the Fastah logo are trademarks of Fastah Inc. You may view and use the content for the purposes these terms allow, and you may copy code samples from the documentation into your own software. Otherwise, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from the content without our written permission. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Third-party sites and services

This Website links to, and relies on, services we don't control, including AWS Marketplace, Mapbox maps on IP explorer pages, and other third-party websites. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

This Website, including the IP explorer, API playground and all content and results, is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Fastah disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't promise that this Website will be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that its content is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fastah will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of this Website, even if we were told such damages were possible. Fastah's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to this Website is limited to US $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in Delaware. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use this Website after a change means you accept the updated terms.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and Fastah about this Website.
